Found locally, we saw this piece and knew it should come home with us so that some lucky collector would give it a nice home. It is covered in gold with black underneath, that shows through here and there on the pitcher.
The bottom is marked 616, McCoy (no interlocking letters that we can see), USA and another mark to the right of the USA that looks like a 'L".
From our research, it appears that this piece was from the 1970's given how the McCoy pitcher looks. Because of the thickness of the gold on the bottom, it is slightly difficult to read.
This very cool piece stands about 9 1/2 inches tall.
There are a couple of small rough spot on the bottom and the gold is starting to flake off inside the pitcher. The handles are in very good condition and we are unable to find any cracks or chips in this piece.
