Description
This is a vintage theater program from the play, The Philadelphia Story. It was produced by John Kenley. This play was performed in the Veterans Memorial, Columbus, Ohio.
Whoever possessed this program previously used the program like a mini scrapbook and cut out articles from their newspaper and taped them inside.
The play stars a young George Hamilton and most of the articles are about him or the play itself. The neat thing is there is a candid vintage color photo of Mr Hamilton taped on the first page of the program. The photo is dated November 1967 and it shows Hamilton getting ready to sign a headshot of himself.
The play also featured Imelda DeMartin, Arlene Fontanna, Mike Bradford and many others. Leslie Cutler was the director.
Measurements
The program measure approximately 11 inches by 8 1/2 inches.
Condition
The program is in overall good vintage condition.. There is the date of 8/15/67 written in pencil on the upper right hand side of the front cover. There is wear around the edges and the corners are slightly bent.
There is some yellowing on the interior pages, some of it caused by the newspaper clippings that were taped inside. The newspaper clippings are yellowed from age.
