Description
This is the Pecksniff bone china figurine from the Royal Doulton Dickens Miniatures Collection. The Pecksniff (M 43) figurine was produced from 1949-1983 and from our research, we believe that this figurine was made prior to 1959 due to the back stamp used.
On the underside of the base it is marked with Doulton England stamp that was probably used before the 1950's. The name Picksniff is also on the bottom. The number 373 is embossed into the base.
The Pecksniff figurine is from the Charles Dickens book, Martin Chuzzelwitt.
Measurement
The figurine measures approximately 4 inches tall. The base is under 1 1/4 inches by 1 1/4 inches.
Condition
There are no chips, cracks or crazing present. There is a small scratch on the back side of the base, noticeable in the light. The figurine is in excellent vintage condition and a great addition to your Royal Doulton Dickens miniature collection.
