Here is a great piece of history from 81 years ago. This is the Upper Arlington City school district Norwester yearbook from 1936. In this yearbook you will find great old yearbook photos of all the faculty and students that attended school that year. Throughout the yearbook are also vintage artwork from various students. The theme of this yearbook appears to be the sea as the student's artwork is interspersed throughout the yearbook.
The yearbook has 120 pages. The student, Jane Palmer wrote her name and address inside on the first page. She was able to get autographs of the faculty and the senior class. There are also vintage ads included in the back pages of the book.
Upper Arlington City school district has published a Norwester yearbook since 1923. The younger grades were included until 1956 and after that time only the high school grades were included.
Upper Arlington is located in Franklin County Ohio and is near Columbus, Ohio.
Condition
The book is in overall good vintage condition for its age given that it is 81 years old. This is a hardcover book. Some of the pages have corners that were bent and a couple of pages have creases. The pages are clean and all intact. The binding is still good.
