Description

This is a c. 1977 Gretchen Stoneware heart shaped trinket box. It was distributed by W.W.A. Inc. in Ohio and made in Japan. The saying on the top says "Friendship is full of happy surprises" And in the middle is an adorable little girl, presumably Gretchen. 

Measurements

Across the bottom at the widest point it measures approximately 3 1/4 inches. It is about 3 inches from top to the tip of the heart.

Condition

This is in very good vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing.

Shown is a oval or egg shaped music box produced by Franklin Porcelain or Franklin Mint. On the top/cover there are delicate flowers and leaves around the edge with the song title 'Somewhere My Love', written in cursive around a castle which is in the center. The edge of the top is painted in gold. It is on a white background. The body and top are also white. Part of the floral decoration can be seen on the side of the bottom of the music box.
