This is an insert from Elton John's Captain Fantastic and the Dirt Brown Cowboy album. It was Elton John's 9th studio album released in 1975. From Wikipedia: "Written, according to lyricist Bernie Taupin, in chronological order, Captain Fantastic is a concept album that gives an autobiographical glimpse at the struggles John (Captain Fantastic) and Taupin (the Brown Dirt Cowboy) had in the early years of their musical careers in London (from 1967 to 1969), leading up to John's eventual breakthrough in 1970. The lyrics and accompanying photo booklet are infused with a specific sense of place and time that would otherwise be rare in John's music. John composed the music on a ship voyage from the UK to New York."

The insert is set up like a scrapbook, filled with photos of Elton John and others. It also has early newspaper clips and excerpts from Elton John's diary dating back to the 1960's. The last couple of pages, including the back cover have a comic that is entitled 'The Life & Loves of Elton John'.

There are 12 pages, which include the front and back covers.

Condition: There is some wear to the edges and a slight creasing on the bottom right hand side of the pages from how it's been stored previously. The booklet is held together with to metal staples and all the pages are intact and clean. Overall condition is very good.
