Description
This is a very elegant fine china coffee server with lid that has a gentle scalloped edging with gold trim. The lid has an intricate gold design around the handle.
There is a backstamp on the bottom that shows a crown, Marie Luise, Seltmann, Weiden Germany. Weiden is in the Bavarian part of Germany. The number 243 is incised in the base also.

There is a simple elegance to this piece and is a fine example of the china that the Seltmann company produced.

Measurements
With the lid on the coffee server stands approximately 10 1/2 inches. From the tip of the spout to the handle is approximately 10 inches. The base is approximately 3 1/2 inches in diameter.
Condition
This beautiful coffee pot server is in excellent vintage condition. There is minimal wear on the base. There is very little wear on the delicate gold trim. There are no chips, cracks or crazing.
