Description
This is a vintage advertising needle book that was given away by The Davison Chemical Corporation located in Cordele, Georgia. They apparently sold high grade fertilizers and fertilizer materials according to what is printed inside the needle book. The front features a young girl and boy giving each other a kiss. The artwork was done by Art Litho Company, NY. There are two sets of needles included. There are 7 needles on the upper half, one of which 2 3/4 inches long. The other set, on the lower half are Dix and Rands High Grade Sharps, 3/9 and made in Austria. There are 9 needles in the pack.
We believe given the litho on the front and the Dix and Rands needles that this was probably produced in the early 20th century.
Measurement
The needle book measures approximately 5 inches by almost 3 inches.
Condition
The needle book is a heavy card stock and in very good vintage condition. There is some discoloration on the inside of the needle book. There is minimal wear overall.
