Description
Here's a nice pair of vintage cow salt and pepper shakers that would make a great gift for a cow collector. Or they would be a nice addition to your farmhouse kitchen décor. These were imported by the Seymour Mann company, probably sometime in the 1970's-1980's. Each cow is black and white, with brown horns and tip of their tails. One cow is standing in grass with a fence and the other cow is laying down.
Both cows are marked on the bottom with a backstamp that says ©MANN, though the standing up cow's backstamp is a little blurry. Each cow has its plastic stopper.
Measurements
Standing Cow stands approximately 2 3/4 inches and is about 4 3/4 inches long. The Laying down cow is approximately 4 1/2 inches long by 2 inches tall.
Condition
Each cow has crazing throughout. The plastic stopper in the laying down cow has a little piece out of it, both stoppers however are still in very good vintage condition. The standing cow has a flea bit/paint missing from the top of one horn. Both cows are otherwise in very good vintage condition.
