Your dinner guests will be impressed when you offer them butter with this porcelain china three piece butter dish. It was made by Royal Bayreuth and it is the Chicago pattern. Delicate pink and blue flowers were applied and bordered by thin gold bands. The handles also gold in color. The three pieces consist of the lid, base and a strainer.
There is a green backstamp on the underside of the base. The word Chicago is in red under the backstamp.
It is unknown when exactly this piece was made.
The diameter of the lid is just under 5 1/2 inches.
The strainer is just under 4 inches in diameter.
The base is approximately 8 inches from handle to handle.
There is wear on the gold of the handles and around the edges of the base. There are no chips, cracks or crazing and is in very good vintage condition.
