Description

This is a kitschy metal tray that was produced by Masonware. The tray is yellow with a black back and features eight different barbecue sauce recipes. In the center are four different cartoon like scenes that were created by Joe Carpenter. The artwork shows one man cooking while another man at first is sitting in a chair looking grumpy. By the fourth panel the grumpy man is happy after tasting the food that came off the grill.

The original label is still on the outside edge and is silver with black lettering. It states Masonware, Alcohol Resistant Finish.

Measurement

The tray is approximately 13 inches in diameter across the top.

Condition

The tray is in good vintage condition. It shows signs of previous use and wear. There are scratches around the yellow upper rim. The back, as seen in the photos, has many scratches and some paint missing with some minor rust spots.

The label is still intact however it is worn around the edges, but still readable.
