We offering this lovely Hand Finished Aluminum handled large basket. It was made sometime between 1950's -1960's from the research we have done. The only mark on the basket is on the bottom which can be seen in the photo.
The basket has one handle and is attached so that it can be moved to either end. The hand has been beautifully crafted and has 2 loops and a simple, yet beautiful design in it.
The basket has been embossed with a floral and fruit design, which is still in very good condition.
Measurements: This basket measure approximately 14 inches long, 9 1/2 inches wide and is 9 1/4 inches tall from the middle of the basket to the top of the handle.
Condition: Overall condition is good and the piece is clean and ready for your collection or to be used in your decor. Because it is aluminum, there are a few scratched areas. There is also very good advise from collectors on the internet on how to properly clean vintage aluminum.
