Shown is the vintage Grant Crest gravy boat from their Country Charm product line. This product line was produced in the 1950's. The gravy boat is a lovely creamy white color with a band of sunny yellow that encircles the upper edge. There is a cow in a pasture and a fence line and trees in the distance.

Description

In the 1950's Salem China Company out of Salem, Ohio produced the Grant Crest line. Under the label of Grant Crest, it produced the Country Charm design featuring quaint country scenes of farm life, people and animals.

The gravy boat is off white with an upper band of yellow that goes all the way around. The bottom is marked Grant Crest 'Country Charm' inside a rectangular gold border.

Measurements

From the tip of the spout to the handle is approximately 6 1/2 inches. It stand approximately 3 3/4 inches at the tallest part of the spout. It is about 3 inches wide.

Condition

There is crazing throughout the piece. There is also some wear on the base from previous use. There are no chips or cracks that we can find.

Shown is a Royal Copenhagen oval dish. It made of white porcelain and is hand painted with a sprig of oregano. Around the edge of the dish there is also hand painted florals and design. The outer edge of the dish is slightly serrated and edged in gold paint. There is one handle which is also porcelain and made to look like a rounded trig. There are two applied porcelain flowers on the right side of the handle. The dish is on a black background.
