Description
We found this creamer and sugar set made by Fenton Art Glass locally and couldn't wait to find them a new home. We found this set listed in the book Fenton Glass, The Third Twenty-Five Years by William Heacock on page 108. It shows a catalog supplement from January, 1967 picturing this star crimped creamer and sugar.
This pair is unmarked as Fenton didn't start back stamping/embossing their logo until 1974. Before 1974, labels were often used, however, Fenton made much of its glass for use, so the labels didn't last long.
Measurements
The sugar is about 5 inches from handle to handle. It is about 3 inches tall and the base is about 2 1/8 inches in diameter. The creamer is about 5 inches from tip of the spout to the handle. It stand about 3 inches tall and the base is about 2 1/8 inches in diameter.
Condition
The only issue with this set is there is a small chip on the right hand side of the handle, it's on the upper side of the handle where it is attached to the creamer. Otherwise these are in very good vintage condition, with no other chips or cracks.
