Description

This beautiful carnival glass collector's plate was made by the Fenton Art Glass company in 1970. It is the first plate in their American Craftsman series and it depicts a glassblower from Jamestown in 1608.

From the back of the plate: The Fenton Art Glass Company Commemorates With This Handmade Plate The Earliest Glass Craftsman Of New America...Jamestown - 1608. No. 1 In The Annual Series of Collector's Plates By Fenton, 1970. Also on the back is the embossed oval logo of Fenton and a partial paper label.

Measurement

The plate measures approximately 8 1/4 inches in diameter.

Condition

This collectible plate is in excellent vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks. The paper label on the back is partially missing as can be seen in the photos.
