Fenton Art Glass company is known for making exquisite hand made glass. This beautiful commemorative plate is #9 from their American Craftsman Series and was produced in 1978. The plate is made of carnival glass and shimmers in the light. The Fenton logo is embossed on the back and the original label is also on the back.
From the back of the plate: With this handmade plate, Fenton commemorates one of the early Colonial Wheelwrights, Richard Ewstead. He arrived in Salem (Essex Country) Massachusetts in 1629. No. 9 in the American Craftsman Series by Fenton. 1978l
The plate is just over 8 inches in diameter.
Condition: This plate is in excellent vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks. The original label is adhered to the back rim of the plate and has partially come loose at the top. Please see the photos for more detail.
