Fenton Art Glass company is known for making exquisite hand made glass. This beautiful commemorative plate is #12 from their American Craftsman Series and was produced in 1981. The plate is made of carnival glass and shimmers in the light. The Fenton logo is embossed on the back.

From the back of the plate: With this handmade plate, Fenton commemorates the early Colonial Housewright, John Laydon. He arrived in Jamestown, Virginia in 1607. No. 12 in the American Craftsman Series by Fenton. 1981.

The plate is just over 8 inches in diameter.

Condition: This plate is in excellent vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks. The original Fenton label is no longer present.
