Description

This is a very elegant fine china square shaped serving bowl that was produced by Seltmann in Weiden Germany. It is the Marie Luise pattern of china. The serving bowl is white with gold trim around the edges.

There is a backstamp on the bottom that shows a crown, Marie Luise, Seltmann, Weiden Germany. Weiden is in the Bavarian part of Germany.

There is a simple elegance to this piece and is a fine example of the china that the Seltmann company produced.

This beautiful serving bowl is in excellent vintage condition. There is minimal wear on the base.

Shown is a Royal Copenhagen oval dish. It made of white porcelain and is hand painted with a sprig of oregano. Around the edge of the dish there is also hand painted florals and design. The outer edge of the dish is slightly serrated and edged in gold paint. There is one handle which is also porcelain and made to look like a rounded trig. There are two applied porcelain flowers on the right side of the handle. The dish is on a black background.
