Vintage Elegant Seltmann Fine China 9 1/2 Inch Luncheon Plate (c. 1950-1960's?) Weiden Germany, Marie Luise Pattern, White With Gold Trim

This is a very elegant fine china 9 1/2 inch luncheon plate that was produced by Seltmann in Weiden Germany. It is the Marie Luise pattern of china. The plate is white with gold trim around the edges.

There is a backstamp on the bottom that shows a crown, Marie Luise, Seltmann, Weiden Germany. Weiden is in the Bavarian part of Germany.

We don't know when exactly this piece was made, however we purchased this set at an estate sale that had other older china sets.

There is a simple elegance to this piece and is a fine example of the china that the Seltmann company produced.

Condition: There is some wear on the delicate gold trim. There are no chips, cracks or crazing on any of the plates.
