1940's cottage charm is the feeling of this Edwin M. Knowles vegetable serving bowl. We aren't sure of the pattern name, however it depicts a beautiful floral arrangement of pink roses and small blue flowers with an accent of small green leaves inside the oval bowl.

The bottom of the bowl is marked Semi Vitreous, Edwin M. Knowles China Co., Made In U.S.A. 41-3, the 3 is hard to make out, so it may be an 8.

Measurements: This oval bowl measures approximately 10 3/4 inches in length and 8 1/2 inches across. It stands about 2 1/4 inches.

Condition: The vegetable bowl is in very good condition. There are some wear marks inside from use. We are unable to find any crazing, cracks or chips.

Shown is a Royal Copenhagen oval dish. It made of white porcelain and is hand painted with a sprig of oregano. Around the edge of the dish there is also hand painted florals and design. The outer edge of the dish is slightly serrated and edged in gold paint. There is one handle which is also porcelain and made to look like a rounded trig. There are two applied porcelain flowers on the right side of the handle. The dish is on a black background.
