Metlox pottery was located in California and produced beautiful dinnerware pieces for the home. This is a 10 inch dinner plate that was produced between 1950-1983. It is called Provincial Blue pattern on Poppytrail. The pattern features a farmer with his pair of horses, plowing the field, with haystacks and his home in the background. Metlox's use of the various shades of blue are simply beautiful.

Measurements: The dinner plate is approximately 10 inches in diameter. There is a back stamp on the bottom that says Poppytrail by Metlox, Made In California.

The price is per dinner plate.

Condition: Very minimal wear and no chips, cracks or crazing.

Shown is a Royal Copenhagen oval dish. It made of white porcelain and is hand painted with a sprig of oregano. Around the edge of the dish there is also hand painted florals and design. The outer edge of the dish is slightly serrated and edged in gold paint. There is one handle which is also porcelain and made to look like a rounded trig. There are two applied porcelain flowers on the right side of the handle. The dish is on a black background.
