Description
Here is a beautiful example of the china pieces that Southern Potteries created. This piece is a luncheon plate that was hand painted with the Pom Pom floral design. There are two large colorful flowers, one a reddish color and the other one a deep blue. The luncheon plate has a Candlewick edging to it.
The plate is backstamped with Blue Ridge, Hand Painted, Underglaze, Southern Potteries, Inc. MADE IN U.S.A.
We estimate that these were made from the 1940's to the 1950's before the pottery closed down.
At this time we have two of these beautiful plates in stock.
Measurements
The plate measures approximately 9 1/4 inches in diameter and is edged in the candlewick design.
Condition
There is some minor crazing on the front of the plate. There are no chips or cracks present.Other than the crazing there is no other chips or cracks that can be found on these plates.
