We know that this was a piece of china made by the Salem China Company out of Ohio. This beautiful piece of vintage china was created by the artist Viktor Schreckengost in the mid-late 1950's. We do know that this is a scarce pattern.
From the information that we've found, this is called Salem's Harvest pattern or Sepia Fruit on the Free Form shape. It has muted brown or sepia toned fruit in the center of the interior of the bowl and has speckles of brown throughout.
This bowl measures approximately 10 inches in diameter across the top. There are three minor chips on the backside of the bowl, we show one of them in the last photo. (Remember, this is a close up of the chip, it really isn't that large!) As far as we can tell, there are no other chips, cracks or crazing.
