This is a vintage Asian inspired Tindeco tin that was probably made in the 1920's. The lid features two Asian figures standing before a bridge that is over a river or stream. The tin is black in color with the image in mostly gold and some red. The round tin is unique in that it was specifically made for sewing. Inside there are 7 metal spool holders. The bottom is lined in blue velvet like material.
The tin is approximately 10 inches in diameter and is almost 3 inches high, with the lid on.
Condition: There are surfaces scratches and wear throughout. There is wear around the rim where the lid fits. There is also wear on the outside bottom area. There are also a couple of small dents on the bottom section. Please see the photos for more detail. This was definitely used for sewing and is in overall good vintage condition for its age.
