Description
Back in the day, women would be able to order sewing patterns from advertisements in their local newspaper. This vintage sewing pattern was ordered from Personal Romance Pattern Department out of New York city. This is an exclusive Marian Martin Design 9377 and from our research we believe this pattern was produced in the 1940's. There isn't any date printed that would tell us for sure when exactly it was made. However, the tissue paper pattern pieces do not have printing on them, only small round holes in the shape of numbers on each piece (1-5) which indicates that this was made earlier than the 1950's.
Postage on this was 1 cent!
Size
This is for Misses' size 12, however, given the age of this pattern, measurements should be taken to ensure a proper fit as sizes have changed over the years.
Condition
There are 5 tissue pattern pieces, each marked with a corresponding number. It doesn't look like they have been used and they are in very good vintage condition. The paper instruction sheet is yellowed from age. All the printed directions are still readable/usable. The original envelope is in good vintage condition, which wear consistent due to age and the way it was stored previously.
