There are 441 pages, which includes an index. The book has many black and white photos as well as color photos and plates. The author begins with the earliest known fashion and continues until the 1940's. A must have if you appreciate and/or study fashion.

Condition: The book is in very good vintage condition. There is very slight discoloration to the dust jacket and wear around the edges. There is a small spot of sticker residue on the inside dust jacket flap. The pages are clean and intact. The binding is tight.
