Description
This fine bone china piece was originally sold to hold people's cigarettes as it was customary for the host to offer their guests a cigarette. How times have changed! Now you can use this to hold your business cards, matchsticks, a couple of pens or whatever works for you.
This was made by Royal Worcester from England. The pattern is called Woodland and features a beautiful spray of flowers that have a blue tint to them. On the back is one simple little flower that is yellow with blue tinted leaves. The rim has a gold band.
The bottom is stamped and we took a close up of it that you can see in the photos.
What we like about this!
We like that this beautiful piece can be repurposed in your home or office. The delicate floral will certainly make you smile and think of a beautiful English garden.
Measurements
The holder measures approximately 2 1/2 inches and the base is approximately 2 1/2 inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide.
Condition
This piece is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or crazing. There is minimal wear on the bottom.
